Local Canvass

Pursuant to Texas Election Code 172.116 and SOS Advisory 2026-09, the canvass of the Williamson County Republican Party Primary Election will take place on March 12th. The canvass is fairly straightforward; the County Chair will get a print out from the Williamson County Elections Administrator of Election Night Results and then will log into the Secretary of State online portal to verify that what the EA input into the portal matches the information on the printout.
